3D printing takes flight!

The renowned French military fighter aircraft, the Rafale, has been faithfully replicated at a 1/6 scale by the ASA company.

It takes flight at speeds of up to 280 km/h, and over 50 components that make up its structure are 3D printed. (Indeed, this aircraft, with its exceptional appearance and performance, can withstand forces of up to 7G and boasts a 3-liter kerosene tank.)

3D printing has enabled a significant time-saving in the production of parts, delivering high-quality finishing and robust mechanical strength.
