Once again this year, their robots combined artificial intelligence and 3D printing.

"For the second year running, Volumic 3D has partnered the AIGRIS robotics association, made up of young engineers from the Toulouse region taking part in the Coupe de France de robotique organized by Planète Sciences.
Reigning French runners-up, this time they made it all the way to the last 8 with their two fully autonomous machines, some 50 parts of which were 3D printed by Volumic 3D in a variety of materials, including PLA with a metallic appearance and PETG enriched with carbon fiber.
A large part of the secondary robot is made up of translucent PLA tubing, which is used to pick up, convey and eject the playing elements, enabling the robot to fulfill its mission during the hundred seconds of each match in the competition.
These encouraging results were made possible thanks to this partnership, which is currently being renewed for next year!
