A propeller for the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge powered by 3D printing!

Our partner, La Ferme 3D, participated in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge as a partner of the MINES ParisTech - École des Mines de Paris team.

They collaborated to create and 3D print a revolutionary, durable propeller tailored for the boat, aiming to win the race.

This propeller was printed using a Stream Ultra Supercharged with the Carbon system, a material currently being developed by La Ferme 3D.

3D printing enabled the creation of a customized propeller quickly and at a reasonable cost. The propeller is tailored to the motor/boat combination to optimize its efficiency, meaning its energy consumption for a given speed.
