The Louvre Museum has embarked on an ambitious and vital project: recreating iconic Sudanese heritage objects in 3D to pass them on to children who are currently cut off from their culture.
An innovative project: educational kits containing accurate replicas of historical artifacts, such as a turquoise protective eye or a 2,700-year-old Assyrian lion, designed to create a miniature, mobile, and accessible museum.
The challenge? Reproducing unique pieces quickly and with extreme precision.
To achieve this, the Louvre relied on the expertise of its long-standing partner, 3D Solutions, which was able to recommend the most suitable technologies for this ambitious project.

Our 3D printer, the “EXO42,” was used to produce faithful replicas of the originals in under 24 hours, delivering objects with striking realism.
