Volumic is happy to have been able to accompany this year again the students of the Association A.I.G.R.I.Son this fabulous educational and technological project: The French robotics cup.
This year again, their robots combined artificial intelligence on the substance and 3D printing on the form.

“For the second consecutive year, Volumic 3D has been a partner of the robotics association AIGRIS, composed of young engineers from the Toulouse region taking part in the French robotics cup organized by Planète Sciences.
Vice-champions of France in title, they reached this time the 8th finals with their two fully autonomous machines, including About fifty parts have been 3D printed by Volumic 3D in different materials, such as PLA with a metallic appearance and PETG enriched with carbon fiber.
A large part of the secondary robot is made up of a translucent PLA tube that allows the robot to pick up, convey and eject the game elements, thus fulfilling its mission during the 100 seconds of each game of the competition.
These encouraging results were made possible by this partnership, which is being renewed for next year!”
