The 2017 BIM Competitionis a competition for architects and architecture students whose objective is to promote this essential work method that is BIM.
The 2017 edition of the BIM Competition offers candidates the opportunity to reflect on the downtown area of the commune of Saint-Prix. Candidates will be asked to design a digital mock-up of several residential and commercial buildings that will be integrated into a larger project to create a new centrality for the city.
Volumic 3D, which supports the architectural industry with its multi-material STREAM 3D printers, is once again a partner in this event.
The BIM Competition Awards will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Paris and the trophies that will reward the winners were printed with a Stream 3D printer and are made of PLA (100% biodegradable corn starch).
