For more than 4 years, the company ” Phenix Retro Concept ” and the workshop ” alpines auto racing ” (specialized in the restoration of alpines, cars of the Renault group) have been using industrial processes such as foundry and resin casting, today coupled with additive manufacturing for the creation of parts of old vehicles by retroengineering
3D printing allows them to manufacture :
– prototypes used to create silicone molds,
– tooling parts,
– technical parts on board the vehicles.

To take these illustrations: an aluminum part located under the engine hood is no longer available for sale, requiring excellent mechanical and thermal resistance, the element was therefore replaced by a part printed with the UNIVERSAL ULTRA material which in addition to meeting these constraints offers a very qualitative visual aspect.
