#3586 Extruder overheating

If you get the error “Extruder overheating”, it means that the extruder is not cooled properly and the cooling body is getting too hot.
It is not normal for the protective temperature to rise so high.

For a 240° nozzle it should not be above 45 to 50°C max.
If it rises much higher, the ventilation of the head must be faulty. Check the fan, its connections and its cable, because even micro-cuts in it can cause this kind of thing.
If the machine has a hood, also make sure that the hood ventilation works properly. Try with the hood open and closed.
