#3594 Local equipment and VMC standard

For the equipment of the room, you must take into account your environment, and in general a fire fighting system is a minimum.

For the VMC, it depends a lot on the materials used. If you are only printing PLA or PETG, a VMC is not a necessity (it will always be a plus, but printing PLA/PETG 24 hours a day will not generate more than 3-4ppb of VOC and less than 400ppm of CO2).

On the other hand, materials like ABS, ASA or ultra-technical materials (PC, PEKK, PEI etc…) will release much more fine particles.
