#3588 Error #25 : SD card reading error

The error N°25 was implemented after the realization of the documentation, hence its absence.
In any case, this phenomenon is a reading error on the SD card.
This may come from the card (avoid micro-SDs in adapters as this generates a lot of false contact), or from the reader itself.
Try a new SD card to see if the problem persists.

If several different cards have the same defect, it must be the SD reader itself.
You can try this:
1) Check/clean the player, sometimes small print scraps fall into the slot and cause false contacts.

2) Try to “make” the contacts of the reader in the following way: turn off the machine, insert an SD card all the way in and take it out quickly. Do this continuously for a good fifteen times to “scrape” the copper contacts of the reader. Depending on the environment, the contacts may oxidize a little and create false contacts. Do not hesitate to repeat the operation two or three times to rule out this hypothesis.

If this does not solve the problem, you may need to change the card reader. If you want to change the player, you have to unscrew the back panel of the LCD block. Do the same with the 2 screws of the support which block the reader and its bottom screw, then change it with the new one, this one being mounted on connector. If you do not have a spare reader you can contact us via the contact form.
