It is in the heart of the newly inaugurated EVIAN factory that Volumic, with its partner Ludeek 3d, has customized three printers to the colors and requirements of the brand.
The aim of this project is to present a new concrete application of recycling plastic bottles“PET” to make a raw material in 3D printing.
Today, this essential material, “PET“, allows EVIAN (a subsidiary of the Danone Group), through the 3D Leman company, to transformbottles into plastic pelletsand then transform them into filaments for 3D printing.
Volumic is proud to have been able to bring all its expertise to enable the realization of this demonstration which opens interesting perspectives for many actors on the recycling market.
